►Women ages 12 to 112! Please sign up at the Welcome Center if you plan attending this year’s VERY SPECIAL EVENING on October 6th. Please feel free to bring a guest or guests with you! If you need childcare, please contact Mary Holmes at 608-742-7377 as soon as possible!
► Salvation Army is sponsoring a COAT DRIVE called “Coats of Many Colors”. Collecting gently used and clean winter coats – sizes infant to adult. They must have workable snaps, zippers and buttons. Snow boots of all sizes are needed. There will be a box in the entry during the month of October. Coats will be distributed on Friday, October 24 from 2-6 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 25 from 9-1. Distribution will be at 118 W Cook St.
► WOMEN’S MINISTRY HOME ARTS CLASSES are starting! Coming in October: Soap making! Please sign up at the Welcome Center if you are interested in learning how to make gift soaps…a great idea with the holidays quickly approaching. Watch bulletin and PowerPoint for additional details! Also, Mary Severson is willing to teach budgeting or personal finances to any woman on a one to one basis. Call Mary at the church office if you are interested.
► If you are interested in being in a SMALL GROUP there is also a sign-up sheet on the welcome center. Also, please indicate if you would like to be a host or facilitator.
► VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY This month the Community Free Meal is celebrating its 5 year anniversary! At this time, we are in need of a coordinator. If anyone is interested in taking over this opportunity to serve this community, please contact Mary Cooper at 608-742-6621 or Rhonda Pratsch at 608-742-6954.
