Mission Statement

The Grace Bible Church Women's Ministry exists to glorify God by:

  • equipping women to mature spiritually in faith, knowledge and the love of Jesus Christ through the study of God's Word
  • enabling women to connect with other women within the church and to support fellow believers and the community through ministry service
  • encouraging and edifying women in their  daily lives and walk with the Lord(Ephesians 5:25)

  

               The women's Ministry at Grace Bible Church focuses on fostering women's spiritual   

               growth, encouraging women to be in relationship with one another as sisters in Christ, and

               enabling women to minister to and encourage each other within the church body and

               throughout the community.

MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers)

Meetings are held September thru May.  2nd Thursday of the month from 9:15 to 11:30 a.m. and the last Thursday of the month from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers.  MOPS exist to meet the needs of every mom with children from pregnancy through kindergarten.  Women from all backgrounds and ages find support in MOPS as they try to be the very best moms they can be.

MOPS groups provide an open, caring and accepting atmosphere for today's mothers to grow and share their experiences with other women.  MOPS programs often include teaching by mentors and other speakers and an opportunity to develop creativity while children are cared for.  Please contact Tami Jo Schoessow 608.335.2276 or Sarah Kravick 608.745.1799.  Portage MOPS also has a web site www.portagemops.org
